Description
Mike Pappas’ brainchild, the Sparrow 22 was an endeavor to fix all the problems and hassles that have plagued rimfire cans. Designed with simplicity, durability, and user serviceability as its foundation. Rimfire cans were either non-user serviceable or they had to be cleaned at regular intervals. If they were not cleaned regularly you ran the chance of your baffles or the core would bond with the outer tube making removal for maintenance a major pain. Many hours and curse words have plagued .22 rimfire cans until the Sparrow 22.
Apply some commonsense and outside the box thinking from Mr. Pappas and you get patented Multi-Part Containment (MPC™) technology that makes disassembly and reassembly a breeze. The internal MPC construction uses two half tubes that pull away from a monolithic core, which ensures that the Sparrow 22 will remain easy to clean after extended periods of use with notoriously dirty rimfire ammunition. So blast on worry free.
So I don’t have to send this back to SCO for maintenance? Check.
I can clean it myself at my leisure, at my own workbench? Check.
And, I can be certain my core will not bond to the outer tube and I can simply disassemble and reassemble? Check.
The Sparrow 22 set the mark for other manufacturers by addressing problems that have existed with .22 cans in the past.
*We do not recommend shooting lead projectiles out of any of our sealed suppressors.
